Aquatic ecosystems suffer from threats like toxins, pollution, and other imbalances:
Whether treating chemical harm from novel entities like plastics, improving biodiversity where fish kills have been the new normal, mitigating algal blooms where fertilizers are vital to coastal agriculture, shielding reefs from bleaching exposure, alleviating stress from the ocean's carbon sink functions, or simply helping marine life get the oxygen they need to thrive, our aquatic communities are under heavy stress. So much stress that most of these critical threats are well beyond Earth's ability to heal itself naturally.. we need solutions, not just measures.
